South Wales Family Photography

I specialise in children and family photography in the most natural and authentic way, with minimal direction. My goal is to create beautiful, timeless images that genuinely reflect each individual’s personality and the unique relationships within the family. By taking a relaxed and unobtrusive approach, I aim to create a visual record of childhood and family moments that is not only true to life but also deeply meaningful. Each photograph tells a story, preserving the special, often fleeting moments that define family life.

I believe that the environment plays a crucial role in how comfortable and at ease your child and family will feel during the session. Therefore, I prefer to photograph on location—either in the warmth of your home or, when the weather allows, in a natural outdoor setting such as a favourite park, beach, or forest. This ensures that everyone feels relaxed and unhurried, which in turn helps to create authentic, emotive images. Children, in particular, are more likely to express themselves freely when they’re in a familiar or enjoyable space, resulting in photographs that truly capture their spirit.

The typical session lasts about an hour, though with young children, I take a more flexible approach. I understand that children may need time to warm up or may need breaks during the session. Patience is key, and I am happy to take the time needed to ensure we get the very best images. My priority is always to provide you with a collection of beautiful, meaningful photographs that you’ll treasure for years to come, so I’ll stay until I feel confident that we’ve captured everything you’d want and more.

FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION FEE – £125

My commission fee is £125 to cover the photography session, travel within South Wales.

You then have a choice of purchasing photographic prints from £5 to £50, with options including fine art paper and mounts.

If you prefer to have the ability to produce you own prints and store a digital copy of the images on your computer you can obtain the full resolution digital image files from £50 each or the whole set for £225.
