A More Natural Approach to Wedding Photography

I have received a few photography awards over the years, but the accolades I am most proud of are the reviews and kind words from the couples I have worked with. I have always worked hard to ensure every client is delighted with their photographs, and I am grateful that most of my new bookings come through personal recommendations. It is a genuine honour to be invited into such an important day, to witness and document moments filled with emotion and I never take that trust for granted. I continue to draw on my experience and artistic vision to create beautiful images while providing a warm, professional service.

We recently had Sacha photograph our wedding and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Neither of us are huge lovers of posing for photos, so Sacha’s unobtrusive and candid approach was perfect for us! He blended in throughout the day so we didn’t have to leave our guests and spend ages having photos taken, which really allowed us to enjoy our day. One of the reasons we booked Sacha in the first place was his approach to photography, neither of us wanted to spend our whole wedding day posing for photos instead of enjoying ourselves and we got both an amazing day and a gallery of gorgeous photos! Sacha is quiet as a mouse and half of the time you’d barely know he was there snapping away, some of my favourite photos are of moments I didn’t even know that he was there for, and that speaks massively for his skill. We didn’t feel as though we were being followed by a camera, yet every perfect moment was captured. We couldn’t recommend him enough. The photos we got back are absolutely beautiful, natural shots that we will treasure forever.

Sacha was great in the lead up the wedding; listening and understanding what we wanted from the day as well as working with us to accommodate the different locations of the bridal party and ensuring photos were taken in all. Sacha was fantastic! I was very specific in wanting to capture the narrative of the day and that I wanted atmosphere over posed photographs. I have a background in Fine Art and Sacha was the only wedding photographer I liked, so I was very happy that he was able to do our wedding. He even ran into the sea with us for some quirky shots in the wind and rain! He never complained despite getting soaked and the photos captured such a beautiful vibe of the day.
