Amy and Rob hosted their Gileston Manor wedding on the Saturday 28th of August 2021. Below is some of the photography that I provided for the happy couple. Apart from a handful of group shots, there was no other posed photographs taken. My policy is that any images that require posing, ie groups and portraits are at the bride and grooms discretion. So I simply let the day unfold and capture what occurs without intrusion or intrusion. As you can see this left plenty of time for capturing moments of guests playing lawn games, rowing boats and general capering. The morning preparations took place on site at Gileston Manor accommodation within their converted barns. The marriage ceremony took place in the secret garden before guest were led to the walled garden were chilled drinks were waiting for them. The remainder of the drinks reception took place on the main lawn, in front of the manor house that commands a seascape view of the Bristol Channel. The wedding breakfast was hosted in the venues purpose built marquee, which exchange the coastal view for a more rural one. The neighbouring wheat field providing the view, the rolled hay bales proving too enticing to guests after the meal (and a few glasses of wine).
“I just wanted to say thank you for our beautiful wedding photos! Thank you for your time and efforts on our wedding day. Knowing you were there took a weight off our minds. We had such a wonderful day, far better than we ever could have hoped given the circumstances. Your pictures are amazing and really capture everyone’s enjoyment of the day.”
