A More Natural Approach to Wedding Photography

Here are some examples from my previous Gileston Manor wedding photography assignments. Gileston Manor is a Grade II listed manor house, situated on the Vale of Glamorgan Heritage Coast line in South Wales.

“I just wanted to say thank you for our beautiful wedding photos! Thank you for your time and efforts on our wedding day. Knowing you were there took a weight off our minds.”

We had such a wonderful day, far better than we ever could have hoped given the circumstances. Your pictures are amazing and really capture everyone’s enjoyment of the day.”

This exclusive wedding venue benefits from nine acres of manicured gardens, surrounded by beautiful Welsh countryside with views of Limpert Bay and the Bristol Channel. The picturesque church of St Giles, is located within the grounds, allowing for a religious marriage ceremony, as well as options for a civic ceremony such as the summer house and covered secret garden. The drinks reception can be hosted on the manor house main lawn that rolls out into the coastal scenery and also the aromatic walled garden with all of its flora splendour. The wedding breakfast can be served to up 140 seated guest in the purpose built marquee, situated on the west side of the grounds, thus benefiting from the evening sun as it sets over the neighbouring wheat fields.

There is also on site accommodation available, with eight unique outbuildings converted into luxury rooms, together these can sleep up to 24 people. The manor house itself has also been fully renovated, and these eight rooms can accommodate up to 18 people. Notably the bridal suite was designed by renowned Welsh fashion designer David Emanuel, who of course is best known for designing the wedding dress worn by Diana, Princess of Wales. If you are planning a wedding at Gileston Manor and looking for a South Wales wedding photographer please do not hesitate to enquire after my availability.

Gileston Manor Wedding Days

Gileston Manor Wedding Photography

So why book me for your Gileston Manor wedding photography? My documentary approach ensures the photography does not turn the day into a photoshoot, but merely captures the day in its natural flow. No awkward poses, no cheesy grins, just honest, emotive, story telling imagery. I aim to provide an elegant pictorial record of your perfect wedding day.

My advice to anyone getting married, is to relax and enjoy yourself on the day, chat and laugh with friends and family and the photography will take care of itself. If this sounds like it might suit you and you would like to discuss your wedding photography requirements any further, or just wish to check on my availability and fee, then please do contact me.

“Sacha was fantastic! I was very specific in wanting to capture the narrative of the day and that I wanted atmosphere over posed photographs.”

“I have a background in Fine Art and Sacha was the only wedding photographer I liked, so I was very happy that he was able to do our wedding. He even ran into the sea with us for some quirky shots in the wind and rain! He never complained despite getting soaked and the photos captured such a beautiful vibe of the day. I would highly recommend him.”

On the day you hardly knew Sacha was there but the photos showed he was everywhere!! We are so happy and proud of the photos.”
