The weather in July 2024 was gloriously sunny, with clear skies and a warm breeze that made it the perfect day for an outdoor celebration. After careful consideration, the decision was made to hold the ceremony outside, taking full advantage of the breathtaking surroundings. The staff at Sant Ffraed House in Monmouthshire, South Wales, worked tirelessly, arranging rows of chairs in the garden, ensuring everything was meticulously laid out for the ceremony. Meanwhile, the talented florist Catherine Gray worked her magic, preparing the stunning floral displays and delicate bouquets for the bridal party, adding vibrant splashes of colour to the scene.

The bride and her bridal party were fortunate enough to have access to ‘Jenny’s,’ a charming self-contained former farmhouse located just a short distance from the main house. This cosy and picturesque setting provided the perfect backdrop for the bridal preparations, with the bridal party getting ready in style. As the time for the ceremony drew closer, the groom and his ushers were granted access to a private bedroom in the main house to make their final adjustments and perfect their outfits. Once they were ready, they joined the wedding guests, who were already seated on the garden terrace, eagerly awaiting the start of the ceremony.

The outdoor ceremony itself was held in the stunning grounds of Sant Ffraed House, surrounded by lush greenery and the magnificent gardens of the manor. The sound of birds singing and the rustling of leaves in the gentle breeze added to the serene atmosphere as the couple exchanged vows, while the rolling hills and verdant landscape of Monmouthshire stretched out in the distance, creating a picturesque and idyllic setting for the special occasion.

As the evening sun cast its golden glow over the landscape, the celebrations shifted into the evening. The newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance, a moment of pure joy and love, as friends and family looked on with smiles and tears of happiness. The wedding band, Soul Lotta Funk, then took over, filling the air with infectious beats and grooves. The dance floor quickly came alive, as guests of all ages joined in the festivities, dancing, laughing, and celebrating the couple’s union. The atmosphere was electric, with everyone caught up in the magic of the moment, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
