Friday 3rd September 2021 and I started my photography coverage in the morning at the bride’s mother’s house, where I was greeted with the sight of a beautiful homemade cake sitting on the kitchen counter. One of the few benefits of the lockdowns has been the increase in the home baking skills, especially considering the difficulties caused by postponed wedding dates. Sophie and Jack were both in the house getting ready before separately making their way to Pencoed House for the marriage ceremony and wedding reception. The venue had installed a new marwuww in the courtyard, which provided the space for the wedding breakfast. The weather was kind to use today, so the the bride and groom were keen to make the most of the rustic surroundings with a few natural portraits of the two of them. Whilst guest enjoyed the outdoor seating area and the children present could play games carefree, one of which included some with inflatable pigs!
“Thank you so much for these – they are brilliant. They capture the day so well! It’s great to see other people’s experiences of the day captured, too.”
