On Saturday 16th April I travelled to Pembrokeshire in West Wales to photograph the wedding of Nicola and Oliver. The bride’s parents own a beautifully restored Victorian guest house, Woodlands in Saundersfoot. This provided the perfect location for the bridal preparations. The ceremony and following celebrations were hosted at the charmingly rustic Woodhouse Barn. Here you can get married in the unique setting of the round hen house, before serving drinks amongst the raw natural beauty of coastal West Wales. The wedding breakfast and evening entertainment is housed in the main barn, with its mezzanine lounge, it has plenty of room for post-meal wedding quiz (if you so choose) before the dancing gets under way. This is what happened today, with sprinkling of questions on wedding traditions around the world and general trivia on the bride and groom. I thought it was a great idea to occupy the guests, as the staff at Woddhouse Barn were hard at work clearing the tables to make room for the dance floor. As I write this the wedding season is truly underway, it is so exciting to have these celebrations back to normal, without restrictions.
“Just to say we have been through all the pictures now and they are absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to show our friends and family.Thank you so much.”Nicola & Oliver
