At the time of Jasmine and Marcus’ wedding day, a Monday morning in late June of 2021, there was still strict restrictive numbers allowed in the St David’s ceremony room at Cardiff‘s registry office located at the City Hall. So much so in fact, I found myself unable to photograph the official ceremony. In reality it did not hinder the coverage too much, and hopefully the images can portray a comprehensive pictorial story to represent the couple of hours I was with them. A few other surplus guests waited in a nearby tavern to catch up with the newly married couple as they arrived at Cardiff Castle. Here they had made arrangements for access to enable a few portraits within the ornate building and also for a wedding breakfast to be served in the castle’s undercroft. As with most couples these day, Jasmine and Marcus have been waiting a while to get married, the inevitable postponing of dates was further complicated hindered by the fact, the betrothed both live and work in the British Virgin Islands.
