Danielle and Darren’s plan for a wedding abroad was unfortunately scuppered by the recent travel restrictions. Instead they opted for the Gothic Victorian charm of Tortworth Court. This luxury hotel in the Gloucestershire countryside boasts an ornate glass house orangery that can accommodate wedding celebrations. Though the day’s coverage on 19th September 2021, started in the generously proportioned bridal suit of the main mansion house. The bride, once ready has the pleasure of transcending the hotel’s signature feature, an oversized carved wooden staircase. The marriage ceremony was conducted in the orangery, before guest were led to the formal gardens where drinks were served outside thanks to the warm weather. The wedding breakfast, albeit an informal pizza buffet, a nod of recognition to their amended Italian wedding dream took place back in Tortworth Court’s glass house. There were to be no speeches, bu the evening flowed nicely in the couple’s first dance as the celebrations continued into the evening.
