As a South Wales wedding photographer, this is my fourth time I have photographed a wedding at Caer Llan, Monmouthshire. Today was for the marriage of Charlotte and Evan on Saturday 14th April 2018. My photographic started with the bridal preparations and as the groom was also getting ready at Caer Llan I split my time between the two. The actual wedding ceremony was performed at St Peter’s Church in Blaenavon. A town which was granted world heritage site status by UNESCO in 2000, thanks to its major mining and ironworks built during the industrial revolution. Wedding guests were transported here via a vintage open top double decker bus. The drinks reception was back at Caer Llan, where everyone was enjoying the beautiful views in the spring sunshine. As ever this South Wales wedding venue played its part as host perfectly, providing a comfortable atmosphere that cannot help but make everyone feel at home.
