Monmouthshire Wedding Photography – Caroline & Adam
Caroline and Adam held their Monmouthshire wedding on Saturday 21st April 2018. Honestly, a nicer couple you could not hope to meet, so friendly and welcoming. These attributes were mirrored by their guests and the general atmosphere on the day. I have been photographing weddings for fourteen years and I quickly gained the opinion that the best weddings are not so because of expensive shoes or lavish surroundings, but always about the people. Whilst it is always nice to have luxuries in life, you can hire a village hall, surround yourself with good friends and close family and you cannot but help but have a wonderful time. This in fact was exactly what this young couple did. With the assistance of the wedding party, the hall was decked out with fairy lights, wild flowers and some hired long trestle tables. They even provided their own music and dance floor lights for later on in the evening. A makeshift bar was arranged and stocked to the brim, with an invitation to help your self, it was very much a do it yourself wedding, where everyone feels a part of the mechanics of the day. Though to save anyone slaving over a hot stove, the excellent catering firm Prickly Pear, was brought in to prepare and serve the food. The marriage ceremony itself took place at St Luke’s Church in the village of Tutshill and the wedding reception was hosted at St Arvans Memorial Hall near Chepstow in Monmouthshire, South Wales.
“Sacha would be a 5* cat burglar. Unobtrusive, professional and relaxed, an ultimate wedding ninja.”
“The photos were excellent, better than we could have imagined and beautifully captured the story of our day.”
