Here are some of the wedding photography I provide for Alys and Philip for their Treberydd House wedding. They were married on 7th April 2018, recent inclement weather had meant the marquee location had to changed. Even still a good deal of mopping up occurred before wedding guests arrived, both at the marquee and chapel. The marriage ceremony had took place at Sardis Baptist Church in the village of Llangyndir, Powys, a few miles away. The Victorian mansion played its part perfectly hosting the drinks reception before the wedding breakfast was served in the marquee. Treberfydd House is widely regarded as one of the finest examples of a country house built during the Gothic Revival movement of the 19th century. Designed architect John Loughborough Pearson, renowned for his churches and cathedrals. The house has been home to the same family since it was built in 1852, the Grade 1-listed house sits within 10 acres of private gardens and woodlands, offering the perfect backdrop for a wedding or family celebration. Treberfydd’s gardens were designed by W.A. Nesfield, an eminent Victorian gardener, who also designed the Pagoda Vista and Syon Vista at Kew Gardens, the Witley Courtfountain and Castle Howard‘s South Lake. More recently the Treberfydd House and its grounds have been used by the BBC whilst filming episodes of the popular television show, Doctor Who. The wedding was catered by Prickly Pear, including their signature dessert table, which is always such a crowd pleaser.
“The photos are absolutely wonderful. Thank you so so much for all your hard work.”
