The elegant Georgian architecture of this South Wales wedding venue, was bathed in the most glorious winter sun shine for the wedding of Nicola and Daniel. It was few days before Christmas on the 15th December 2017 and the tops of the Brecon Beacons were sprinkled with snow and the temperature was certainly low. Built in 1741, Peterstone Court is a well established country hotel, nestled in the national park and a perfect setting for a country house wedding. Boasting enough rooms to host both the bridal and groom preparations in the morning, I was able to split my time between the two. The marriage ceremony took place downstairs in the ballroom, which later hosted the wedding breakfast and evening entertainment. Once the nuptials were exchanged, the happy couple made their way straight outside for a few photographs in the South Wales countryside. However the biting winter wind, keep this to a limited time, so it was not long before they rejoining the guests. The warmth of the log fire in the lounge was a welcoming sensation, complimented with lashings of mulled wine.
