Well here we are, the last wedding of 2017. Nia and Andrew just squeezed in with their Margam Orangery wedding on 29th December in South Wales. The bridal preparations took place in the morning at Nia’s beautiful parent’s home, just a short drive away from Margam Abbey. Which was where the marriage ceremony took place. I have always wanted to photograph a wedding here, as I often see the structure when at a wedding reception in Margam Orangery which is right next door. Straight after the ceremony, the bride and groom were whicked away to the Castle, as they wanted a few photographs there. Meanwhile the guests made their way to the Orangery which had been decorated for the occasion. Features includes an ice bar, a whole drinks bar made of ice, carved with the bride and grooms names. As you can see from one of the pictures below, the temptation to give it a lick was too much for one young guests!
