A few photographs from Aimee and Ben’s August wedding in Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (RWCMD) in Cardiff, South Wales. One of things I enjoy about a summer wedding is when the ceremony time is set to allow the festivities to flow into the evening. So it was to be today with the marriage ceremony scheduled the afternoon in the Corus Suite at the Anthony Hopkins Centre that accommodates the music practise rooms for the RWCMD.

Due to the intimate nature of the space, the ceremony was attended by their closest family and friends. As the ceremony concluded, the rest of the guests arrived just in time to welcome the newlyweds, who joined them in the courtyard for drinks and refreshments. The atmosphere was relaxed and joyful, with a live singer providing entertainment and a magician performing close-up tricks.

A few moments were stolen so the bride and groom could pose for a few family group photographs. Then the happy couple led the way along the canal path in Bute Park to the main building at the RWCMD, where speeches were to be given and the wedding breakfast served. When everyone had finished their desserts and a few table was cleared away to create the dance floor, the evening celebrations begun with the traditional first dance as husband and wife.

Aimee’s dress was supplied by All About Eve, the bridal bouquet and floral decorations were provided by Sweet Peony Floral Design. The brides make up was done by Emily Walker and hair styled by Victoria Valentine.
