Georgina and Matt posses the admirable and tenacious belief that they were to be married in 2020. They had originally planned a large extravagant celebration for June. Then as the global pandemic took its tole, the wedding date was moved to October, then November. In the end the large event turned into small collection of family members, creating a series of household bubbles to stay within the ever changing government restrictions. They rented some of the Hunter’s Lodges within the Celtic Manor Resort in South Wales for the morning’s preparations. The marriage ceremony was performed at St Mary’s Church in the village of Magor, where locals and friends, who would have attended the full scale affair gathered at the church gates to wish them well. The wedding breakfast was held at the Newbridge on Usk restaurant, now under ownership of the Celtic Manor Resort. Having hired out the whole establishment, the tables were spread out throughout the building to stay within the guidelines whilst dining.
