Lauren and Scott held their wedding on 14th September 2020 at the Barn at Upcote in the Cotswolds. The marriage ceremony took place in the village church of Northleach. The more observant amongst us, albeit the those who are tv comedy fans will recognise the location from the BBC comedy series, This Is Country. Lauren works as a planner for corporate events, so this was one of the most well organised weddings I have attended. Taking in mind the current coronavirus situation with restrictions changing daily, it was a good job she was, moving the wedding date and having to reduce the guest list, plus abide by the ever changing rules. I also think the trick to a well run wedding from the bride and groom’s point of view, is to have all of the organising done before, so on the day they can relax and enjoy the flow in the knowledge everything will run smoothly. So it was today, I meet up with the bride and her maids getting ready in a nearby cottage. Whilst the groom and his party meet up for a pre ceremony drink at a loyal pub. We could not have hoped for better weather, not a cloud was in sight and the temperature soared. The reception took place at The Barn at Upcote, a collection of picturesque Cotswold stone barns converted for exclusive events. The day unfolded with a wedding breakfast, with guests spread out over a large dining table, a golden hour photo shoot, the light perfectly scheduled in by the bride! Also the wedding shoe game, an alfresco first dance, evening cigars and a sparkler exit.

Lauren and I sat down and looked at them on Friday night with a bottle of bubbly – then looked at them again with Laurens parents on Saturday. Certainly felt like reliving the day and we are so happy and pleased with the work you have produced, thank you.There are certainly a number which stick out as favourites and we will need to go through them several more times before pulling together an album.On the day you just blended in with the guests and it is amazing how we did not even notice you were there at times.
