On the 27th May 2017 I photographed Becky and Josh’s wedding at The Lodge in the Celtic Manor Resort, South Wales. This South Wales venue, as well as other multiple sites to host your wedding day, has three hotels, self-catering lodges, six restaurants, two spas, three championship golf courses and conference facilities. I began my photographic coverage in the morning with the bridal preparations hosted in one of the main hotels suites. A location that enjoyed views over the golf course and the club house, known as The Lodge, where the ceremony was to be held. It was here under the canopy of the entresorts chauffeur driven Bentley drifts into view carry the bride. Whilst the groom was waiting nervously for her entrance in the Julia Suite. This looks across the gold course back onto the main hotel and is adjoined by the Chairman’s Marquee that hosts the wedding breakfast. The drinks reception was followed by speeches before the meal was served. Whilst waiting for the evening celebrations to begin with the bride and grooms first dance. Some of the guest took advantage of the clubhouse television sets to catch up with the latest news from the FA cup final. As night fell, I made my goodbyes, leaving the happy couple on the dance, to make my way home but before taking a dusk landscape of the venue as it glowed across the Gwent hills.
“They are absolutely incredible!!! It’s so nice to see them as it brings all the magic back from the day. We are over the moon with every single photo!
Thank you ever so much for capturing moments from our special day, you were so amazing and easy to work with.
We couldn’t have chosen a better photographer and will 100% be recommending you to everyone that we know is getting married!”
