Lucy and Scott live in perpetually sunny Dubai, but chose the lovely Hensol Castle in South Wales to hold their wedding . Rather predictabilly the Bristih summertime weather play its part in creating a rather more humid atmosphere. The rain on 21st July 2017 will go down in my photographic history of some of the most inclement weather I have experienced at a wedding. However the sheer joy and fun that was mutually experienced at this excahnge of nuptials. It would of hardly mattered if we were in a blizzard. At weddings it always is the friendship and family connections that really dictates the tone of the day. Lucy and her bridemaids got ready in the morning at Hensol’s sister hotel, The Vale before journeying down the M4 to Porthcawl. The marriage ceremony took place at All Saints Church, where Scott was waiting patiently. Thenit was back up to Hensol Castle for the drinks reception and weddding breakfast. The weather keep us internal for most of the day. Though a brief pause of the percipatation allowed a few photographs of the bride and groom enjoying this venue’s, wonderful grounds. Returning to the dryness of the banquest hall where the night danced away and a few cigars were enjoyed in the shelter of the courtyard.
