Follow last Saturday’s wedding where the bride and groom travelled from home in the USA, todays wedding on Monday 24th July 2017 had a distinct Mexican theme, the homeland of José the groom. Melody is from South Wales and is where they decided to get married. The bridal preparations took place at the bride’s parents home and the marriage ceremony was performed at St Catwg’s Church in the village of Pentrych. The groom then drove his new wife in his equally new cherry red Ford Mustang to Pencoed House for the wedding reception. Here drinks were served in the grounds, with some competitive giant Connect 4 was played. Later in the evening the couples first dance was accompanied by a Mexican mariachi band.
