In the heart of the Brecon Beacon’s, Tall John’s House provides the opportunity to have exclusive use of a fairy tale manor house for your wedding day. Dating back to the 16th century, the house was created as a celebration to the victory over the Spanish Armada. In the 19th century there was extensive renovations to create the Georgian manor house you can see today. As well as the main house there is a lovingly restore stone built barn, purposely left as blank canvas to enable bride and grooms to make their own mark on the decorations for their wedding reception. Also available is a private courtyard, extensive grounds and with an ornate walled garden.
Photographing the wedding of Justine and Richard was my first time at Tall John’s and the pressure was on a bit as the bride’s father had been a wedding photographer himself for many years. Luckily with such a splendid venue and such lovely people it was an easy job to photograph the day beautifully. This task was also made easier by the skills of the delightful wedding planner, Laura Beth. The catering was exquisitely provided by Prickly Pear.
“We recently had Sacha photograph our wedding and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Neither of us are huge lovers of posing for photos, so Sacha’s unobtrusive and candid approach was perfect for us!”
“He blended in throughout the day so we didn’t have to leave our guests and spend ages having photos taken, which really allowed us to enjoy our day. Sacha also had a great sense of humour with our guests. The images are so beautiful and really emotive. Thank you so much!”
