South Wales Marquee Wedding
Grace and Adam held their South Wales marquee wedding on Saturday 5th October 2019. Weddings within the farming community are always good fun. These events are testament to the saying, work hard, play hard. The agriculture work force work longs hours with few work free days. Though when they do come together to socialise, it can be guaranteed that they will make the most of it. And so it was for the wedding of Grace and Adam. The morning began with the bridal preparations at her parent farm near St Arvan’s near Chesptow in Monmouthshire. Even the father of groom got in on the act with a cheeky little haircut.
All spruced up, we made our way to St Arvan’s Church for the marriage ceremony where the groom was patiently waiting. Once the nuptials were exchanged and guests had expressed their congratulations, it was on to the reception. The bride and groom made a short stop on the way for a few wedding day portraits, making the most of the farms picturesque driveway and unspoilt rural setting. The South Wales marquee wedding took place pitched in field on the bride’s family farm. It was a little cool in the evening as the autumnal weather made itself know, but pleasant enough for a little table tennis and guests enjoyed mingling together in the warmth of the marquee.
