Cheryl and Brian held their wedding on 22nd June 2018 at Hensol Castle in South Wales. After getting ready at her parents home in Llantrisant, the marriage ceremony took place at the local parish church. Just after the bride was chauffeur driven along the terrace street outside the church, I photographed one of my favourite images of the day was of the groom, nervously swigging from a hip flash whilst waiting at the church alter for his betrothed. The wedding reception took place at Hensol Castle, where a vintage ice cream van awaited everyones arrival to offer to cooling snacks, the perfect antidote in the heatwave that Wales was currently enjoying. The upside of which can be the ethereal light that appears in the early evening, where a well time walk by the bride and groom to the shade of a lake side tree can produce some lovely pictures. To cap it all there was some of text book examples of flossing on the dance floor, which all the kids are doing these days. I was very pleased to received some lovely words from the bride and groom after they had viewed their wedding photographs, with a lack of humility am I all too aware of, I share them below.
