When Louise and Michael booked me for their wedding on Saturday 7th July 2018, they described it as small and intimate. I must admit I underestimated how intimate it was to be. I have occasionally photographed weddings with just close family members, but only a couple of times when I have to stand in as a witness during the ceremony. The only other guests where brides mother and the happy couple’s little baby girl, bit more of an elopement than a traditional wedding. The ceremony took place at the Hedley Suite in the The Manor Hotel, part of the Celtic Manor Resort in South Wales. Once the marriage certificate was handed over, the hotel provide a chauffeur driven Bentley to carry us around the resorts grounds for a few photographs of the newlyweds to mark the occasion. We were the only wedding on at the resort today so we made full use of the views afforded by the Celtic Manor Golf Club and the Twenty-Ten Clubhouse.
