Documentary wedding photography from the city of Bristol
Here are some examples of my Bristol wedding photography. Each post represents a few favourite images from each Bristol wedding that I have photographed recently. The city of Bristol straddles the River Avon in the southwest of England. It borders the counties of Somerset and Gloucestershire. Now a large metropolitan city it started life as an iron age hill fort and Roma Villas. During the 11th century it was named “Brycgstow” the old english name for ‘place at the bridge’. Thanks to its prosperous maritime history, during the 13th to the 18th century, Bristol was one of the richest cities in England. Today it is home to two universities and is on the UK’s most popular tourist destinations. Some of the wedding venues I photographed in or near Bristol include, Aldwick Court Farm, and Coombe Lodge.
