Llansantffraed Court, now known as Sant Ffraed House, is a stunning Grade II listed country house situated in the Usk Valley, Monmouthshire, South Wales. This delightful mansion, nestles amidst twenty acres of glorious landscaped grounds and its own walled kitchen garden. The award winning restaurant prides itself on home grown and locally sourced produced. Portia and Trent where married here on 17th May 2018. They decided to travel from the other side of the world in Australia to get married in the bride’s homeland of Wales. Luckily the weather and the splendid surroundings of Llansantffraed Court more than made up for the long journey. Quite a few friends from down under and of course members of the groom’s family made the trek to the principality, but these antipodean visitors where made to feel right at home with both a warm Welsh welcome and sunshine. As a mid-week wedding the Portia and Trent had the option of half day coverage, which decided to use to provide photography from the groom’s arrival to the formal seating of the wedding breakfast. Generous timings for the drinks reception allowed plenty of time for a few group shots on the hotels lawn, some portraits of the happy couple to utilise the surroundings and then enough time to mingle with guests.
