Clare and Nick’s Fonmon Castle wedding took place on 20th July 2018. The day began with the bridal preparations at Clare’s parent’s home in Cardiff, South Wales. Amongst the hubbub of bridesmaid and flowers girls was the talented make up artist Vaun, who I have seen a couple of times this wedding season and is always a pleasure to work with. The marriage ceremony took place at St Peter’s RC Church in Roath, Cardiff. Once congratulations were given and confetti thrown, it was off to the Vale of Glamorgan’s Fonmon Castle for the wedding reception. This fortress has its roots in medieval times but was drastically remodelled in the 18th century. If you have a spare £11.5 million in the bank, the estate is currently up for sale. The drinks reception was served on the main lawn and the formal wedding breakfast took part in the marquee constructed next to the main entrance. After the speeches and wedding bingo was completed, some of the guests ‘enjoyed’ some tequila shots before hitting the dance floor for the evening entertainment.
“I’ve jut had a quick peek though the photos and so far they look amazing! I can’t want to look through them properly tonight with Nick!”
“Thank you again for being so great on the day”
