I photographed the Summer wedding at Pencoed House in South Wales of Carla and Joel on Friday 1st September 2017. My day started with bridal preparations at the couple’s home in Cardiff before catching up with the groom at St Catwgs Church in Pentyrch where the marriage ceremony was to be performed. The last time I was at this church the groom had a brand new cherry red Ford Mustang, this time the bride arrived in a vintage electric blue Mustang.

The wedding reception took place at Pencoed House, where the sun was shining and guests were joined by the couples pet dog. After the traditional wedding breakfast and after dinner speeches, there was time to relax. Cigars were lit, garden games were played, live music was appreciated and even the best man found time to enjoy the children’s slide! Later on the evening celebrations were kicked off with the bride and groom’s first dance before being joined on the dance floor by some eager guests.
