This wedding will go down in history as one of the hottest I have ever photographed, as the temperature soared in Monmouthshire for this Summer wedding at Caer Llan. Lalle and Vince got married on Saturday 17th June 2017, here is some of the photography I provided for them. My coverage started with the bridal preparations at Caer Llan, where I found the Lalle having her make up applied in the cooling breeze afforded by the fully open balcony doors in the bridal suite. The groom was also on site getting ready so I also managed to get a few photographs of Vince and his best man completing their wedding day outfits with suitable ties. The guests were enjoying the blue skies and the magnificent view of the rolling Monmouthshire hills that Caer Llan benefits from. Following the marriage ceremony, refreshing drinks were served in the garden where shady spots were highly sought after. The wedding breakfast followed by some lovely speeches. I particularly delighted to discover that Lalle works in publishing and the serendipity of their first meeting, when Vince approached his future wife on a train after realising they were reading the same book. After the speeches the guests retreated to the shade in the garden, some played lawn games and even a few could not resist the temptation to dip their toes in the venues outdoor swimming pool.
“We’re so happy with the photos, thank you!”
“Looking through them is really fun, seeing things we missed, and prompting memories and things to tell each other.”
“It’s great to see so many smiley people, you captured some fantastic moments. Thank you!”
