On Sunday 26th May 2019 I was back in South Wales for the Llanerch Vineyard wedding of Sarah and Max. In the morning I met up with Sarah at her parent’s home for the bridal preparations. The weather was not being too kind to us and continued to do so for most of the day. Many umbrellas had to be utilised for Sarah’s rain soaked arrival at the vineyard. Though by the end of the day the sun was back out shining. So we took that opportunity for a belated confetti shot and a couple of portraits of just the bride and groom amongst the spring time infant vines. However during the drinks reception the precipitation did mean taking shelter in the ceremony room. Bride and grooms often feel disappointed with rain on their wedding day, but as it with today it rarely rains all day. Also it does mean guests huddle around the bar area, creating a busy and fun party atmosphere early in the day. I know some photographers panic at this prospect but for me, it is prime conditions to take some lovely candid pictures of people chatting and laughing. I included a few samples below to see what kind of imagery your can expect. The wedding breakfast was served at the vineyard’s marquee, which in every practical sense provides comfortable sanctuary in all inclement weather.
“I would defiantly recommend Sacha to anyone as their wedding photographer. He was so lovely on the day and relaxed which really helped with the nerves in the morning. He worked really hard making sure he got shots of everyone and the pictures are amazing! From the initial enquiry email to receiving the photos, everything was easy. Thank you so much!”
