Here is a collection of the wedding photography I produced for Livvy and Jonathan, who were married at the Oxwich Bay Hotel in Gower, South Wales. My photographic coverage started with the bride on the morning of 16th September 2019. She was in a holiday apartment with her mum and bridesmaids in the village of Oxwich. The groom meanwhile was waiting patiently for his bride at the hotel. The marriage ceremony takes place in the hotel’s lounge, under a vast oak beam. Once the guests have congratulated the bride and groom on the lawn, they make their way to the hotel’s marquee. It is a short walk down the coastal road, but is perfectly placed, providing unhindered views of the bay. Here the guests can enjoy the reception drinks in the garden whilst taking in the sea air. A little time was spend with a couple of group photographs and a few portraits of the bride and groom on the nearby beach. After the wedding breakfast was enjoyed and the speeches delivered, we had a little time before the dancing began. The evening sun was occasionally making itself known through a few clouds, but when it did the nearby sand dunes were quite inviting. So with time before the first dance, the bride and groom took a little stroll amongst them , whilst I captured these moments.
