Kate and Jason were married on 31st May 2019 at Hensol Castle, in South Wales. The wedding photography coverage began with the bridal preparations, which took place at The Vale Hotel, part of the same resort as Hensol castle. Apparently accommodation is still in the pipeline at the castle, and will be a huge boon for this popular South Wales wedding venue. Meanwhile the resort provides transport to and fro throughout the Vale Resort. As Kate was putting the final touches on, guests were beginning to arrive at Hensol for the marriage ceremony, where Jason was patiently waiting. Once the nuptials were exchanged, drinks were served in the lobby before the congregated friends and family made their way outside. In the picturesque grounds, confetti was thrown and family photographs were taken as more drinks were served throughout. The bride and groom portraits are at their discretion, I offer some ideas and see what the couple are happy with. This was they are not dragged around for a photo shoot all afternoon, whilst missing out on mingling with the guests. Late in the day, the formal wedding breakfast was served, followed by the traditional after dinner speeches. The evening sun was quite splendid today, shining across the lake, so I suggested we find a little spot with the light was filtering through the trees for a couple of more portraits. It only took a few minutes and the time was well used during the period where the reception room was being prepared for the evening. The first dance took place with the newly married couple showered in paper confetti, before the guests filled the dance floor. I was asked to stay a bit later than normal, as Kate and Jason were keen to have a sparkler exit photographed once dark enough.
“That are absolutely incredible and we’re more than delighted with them. Thank you again for capturing our day so perfectly!”
