I photographed Louise and Luke’s South Wales wedding at Ocean View, Gower on Saturday 8th September 2018. In the morning I met up with the bride as she was getting ready in a small rented cottage in the Gower village of Port Eynon. As with the majority of my wedding photography clients Louise and Luke possess discerning taste for photography, but did not want to spend much of the day posing for the camera. So apart from a few family groups and a couple of portraits, the rest of the day was captured without posing or instruction. Ocean View is conveniently place a few minutes drive from the north coast of Gower. The couple wanted some beach side pictures so they sought permission from a nearby caravan park to drive their wedding car through to the beach bound footpath. After short distance, though not easy in wedding heels and deep sand dunes, we could see the coastline. The wind was whipping up but the scenic view was well worth the tussled hair. After a couple of photographs it was back to the car and Ocean View to rejoin the guests for the wedding speeches and evening celebrations.
