Documentary Wedding photography north of the border
Despite being a South Wales wedding photographer, it is not uncommon to travel to photograph weddings. Mostly it is to West Wales or the Cotswolds, though occasionally it is further afield. The weddings posted below are from several trips to the north of the British Isles to provide some Scotland wedding photography. It is always a great honour to be asked to travel, normally it is on recommendation from friends of the bride and groom. As a photographer is it quite refreshing to go somewhere new and stretch those creative muscles.
So if you are currently planning your wedding, and looking for a Scotland wedding photographer who can capture your day with natural and emotive imagery, please do not hesitate to get in touch. My approach to wedding photography is friendly yet unobtrusive, designed to let you enjoy your day whilst I capture the essence with an understated reportage aesthetic. I work tirelessly to please my clients and so very proud of the feedback I hear from client comments;
“Thank you so much for getting the pictures to us so promptly, they are fantastic and we’re really pleased with them!”

Auchen Castle Wedding – Amy & Damien
Amy and Damien's wedding on Monday 29th July 2013, represents the second time I have photographed a wedding in Scotland, both times at Auchen Castle near Moffat in the County of Dumfries. The whole day from the preparations through to the marriage ceremony and reception was hosted at the castle....
Emma & Martin – Wedding Photographer at Auchen Castle, Scotland
Here are a few of my favourite photographs from the wedding of Emma and Martin, who were married on 20th October 2012. Full credit to the bride and groom as Emma planned her wedding day whilst serving with the RAF in Afghanistan and with a very temperamental internet connection, and Martin who...
Scotland Wedding Photography
So why book me for your Scotland wedding photography? My documentary approach ensures the photography does not turn the day into a photoshoot, but merely captures the day in its natural flow.
