On the 10th July 2019 I photographed a mid week wedding at Cardiff City Hall and Cardiff Castle. The bride and groom was Ezgi and David, they held their marriage ceremony at Cardiff registry offices, whom are based within the City Hall. Ezgi’s immediate family had travelled over from her home country of Turkey to share the day with them. Though they also have plans for a big celebration with her extended family back home. David’s family are from South Wales, so with them and a few close friends it was to be a relative small family mid week wedding. As this was the case they asked if I would be happy to just spend a few hours with them. To document the wedding ceremony at the City Hall, a few family groups in the Alexandra Gardens. Then we made our way to Cardiff Castle for a couple of more photographs before the family settled down to a celebratory meal in the tower rooms.
