Here is a selection of the photographs that I created at the wedding of Anna and Rhodri on 22nd July 2016. Following the bridal preparations that was jam packed with bridesmaids, flower girls and page boys the marriage ceremony was conducted at Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff. There has been a religious presence on this site since the 6th century, though parts of the current building dates back to the 12th century, but has undergone many refurbishments and restorations, not least after it was hit by a German bomb in 1941.

Today in glorious Welsh sunshine the cathedral played it part well, its magnificent interior witnessing the nuptials and comfortably accommodating over 200 guests. The wedding reception was hosted a short distance up the road in the grounds of Howell’s School, where a marque had been pitched on the sports field of the leading independent school of Wales. Just before the speeches commenced everyone was treated to an appearance of the singing waiters, and more was to follow. Anna’s mother runs a dance school and after the first dance, there was a surprise performance with the flower girls entertaining the guests with a delightful routine.
