One of the first weddings I photographed in 2025 took place in April, celebrating the marriage of Bronwyn and Ryan. It was a little early in the year for the iconic wisteria to be in full bloom on the front of Gileston Manor in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. Still, the gardens were beginning to show early signs of spring, and the sunshine made a welcome appearance throughout the day.
Bronwyn got ready in the elegant ‘Boudoir’ room of the main house, while Ryan prepared in one of the beautifully converted stable barns. The ceremony was held outdoors, with the rolling fields of the Vale of Glamorgan providing a stunning natural backdrop. Following the vows, guests enjoyed a drinks reception in the front garden of the manor, before moving into the purpose-built marquee for the wedding breakfast and evening celebrations.
