Perriswood Wedding Photography, Gower – Sara & Anthony

Here are some of the relaxed and natural Perriswood wedding photography that I captured for Sara and Anthony. The venue is located on the Gower peninsular in South Wales overlooking Oxwich Bay. The perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony, weather permitting of course, though today we were more than spoilt with the heatwave of July 2025 in full force. Luckily the staff at Perriswood, managed to source an industrial fan to keep the guests cool in the marquee as they sought shade from the sun.

The day before the bride and groom put the word out to their guests, to dress with the unusually warm weather in mind, which only added to the relaxed, casual country wedding atmosphere, that the happy couple had always envisioned. The bride was elegantly dressed by Eliza Jane Howell, with her hair complimentarily designed by Boosh Saloon.

After the guests had showered the newlyweds with confetti, everyone returned to the shade of the open sided marquee. Additional comfort was afforded by the cooling summer drinks on offer before the guests were called to be seated for the wedding breakfast, catered by the talented bunch at Strawberry Shortcake.

After the speeches has been enjoyed and as the sun lowered into the evening sky, the temperature dipped into a more comfortable zone, allowing the guests to utilise the lawn games such as croquet and tug and war, even the bride and groom got involved with this. A few more drinks were enjoyed whilst the band set up for the first dance of the newly married couple, the dancing continued with much fun and laughter, only to pause to enjoy the plethora of wedding cakes and desserts available.

“The photos look amazing. Thank you ever so much! You are so bloody good at what you do “
