Here are some highlights from the photography I provided for Nikki and James’ wedding day. They were married on Friday 16th March 2018 at St Tewdrics House near Chepstow in Monmouthshire, South Wales. It was a rather cool day and recent heavy rain meant the lawned areas had to be avoided. However it was dry on the day and the grandeur interior of this 19th century Italian style villa provided the perfect backdrop. On my arrival in the morning, the bridal suite was a busy scene full of activity in preparation for the day. As with all of my clients Nikki and James preferred very low key approach to photography. My brief as ever was to capture the day as it naturally unfolds, except from a handful of family and wedding party groups shots and a couple of portraits of the bride and groom. This structured photography only took a few minutes, leaving the bride and groom freedom to mingle with their guests and enjoy their company. The purpose built courtyard was the location for the marriage ceremony and wedding breakfast, leaving the main house the task of hosting the drinks reception.
