On a rather wet and windy day, namely Friday 15th July 2016, I photographed the wedding of Kelly and Chris. They had travelled from Australia to be married in their hometown of Caerphilly in South Wales, unfortunately the weather did not follow them! I started my photographic coverage with the bridal preparations at her father’s home, a short distance along the road where the marriage ceremony would be conducted at St martins Church. I also managed to see the groom and his ushers as they got ready at a nearby hotel.
The wedding reception and breakfast was hosted at Caerphilly Castle, a 13th century medieval fortress that dominates the townscape, that now attracts tourist from around the world.
