Here is the first wedding that I photographed in 2016, I did not have to wait long as Ceri and Chris got married on the 2nd January. I met up with the bride in the morning as she and her maids prepared for the big day on location at Miskin Manor, a Grade II listed family owned country hotel in South Wales. I also managed to catch up with Chris as he had a early lunch in the downstairs bar before dressing for the ceremony which took place in the hotel’s Minstrel Hall. Afternoon drinks were served in the Terrace Suite, after everyone had said their congratulations, we took a few moments to compose a couple of family group photographs that was requested and then took advantage of the hotel’s interior for a few photographs of the bride and groom, as the weather prevented an exterior exploration of the grounds.
The speeches followed the wedding breakfast in the Glyndwr Suite, the conclusion of which saw the end of my coverage, but before we made use of the fairy lights which lights the hotel’s entrance.
