Below are several of the photographs I captured for Grace and Anthony on their wedding day of Friday 2nd September 2022. In the morning I split my time capturing the preparations of both the bridal and groom parties, before the ceremony at St Peter’s Church in Caswell near Swansea. Following the marriage service, guests were co-ordinated in the church grounds to throw confetti over the newlyweds, before being ushered onto a bus. This transported the attendees to the wedding reception being held at the King Arthur Hotel, a charming country pub on the Gower peninsular. Meanwhile I caught up with the bride and groom, who had been chauffeured to Bracelet Bay where they wished for a couple of casual portraits of the two of them, with the lighthouse in the background. It was at this beach they had first met whilst working as lifeguards in the summer months a few years ago. In fact I had met Anthony myself seven years ago, when I photographed the wedding of his sister, held at the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea, so it was lovely to catch up with their family again. Once we had captured some natural portraits, we made our way to the King Arthur Hotel to met up with the guests for a few drinks, speeches and of course dancing.
