I live in a mountain valley in South Wales, and the week of this wedding we received over a foot of snow and with the temperature remaining well below freezing even during the day, the snow was here to stay. The day before I spent a couple of hours digging the car free from the drifts and clearing the drive, the next day I arrived early in Llandeilo, West Wales for the wedding of Katy and Stephen.
The day was hosted by the Cawdor Hotel on Sunday 19th December 2010. The further west I travelled the less snow there was and thankfully most of the guests also managed to make it. In fact the snow made the whole day feel very ‘Christmassy’ and Katy was enthused about going to a snow covered field, the temp gauge read -5 so my hat off to her and Stephen.
