A More Natural Approach to Wedding Photography

It could be said that a wedding at its core is about two people getting married, making a life ling commitment to each other. Though a wedding day is about so much more, it is also about your relationship with your chosen guests, family and close friends. In my experience of attending many weddings, it never fails to astound me how far people travel, even across the world to share the experience of a wedding day. But then again is that such a surprise? Is life not just a series of experiences and if you can share them with people you love, all the better. It is this heartfelt kinship and joyful characteristics of people that I try to capture through my photography on a wedding day.

So throughout the day, as well as portraits of the bride and groom, and the group shots of course, I am constantly looking out for stolen moments that define what it felt to be present at that time. Sometimes this manifests itself as the bride hugging her grandmother or guests laughing as they play lawn games or jump on a trampoline. Do not forgot you are able to view the most recent work on my wedding photography journal where I post a few favourite images from the latest weddings I have been commissioned to photograph. Alternatively why not read the client comments from previous bride and grooms.
