Nia and Alex held their wedding day on Saturday 10th July 2021 at the King Arthur Hotel in South Wales. This popular pub and restaurant set in the idyllic country setting in the Gower peninsular also boast an oak beamed banqueting hall with its own grounds and wild flower meadow. The recent purchase of nearby holiday cottages has added a terrific option for the bridal preparations to be hosted on site. It was here I started my photographic coverage, splitting my time with the groom and his party on their arrival to the marriage ceremony room. There was quite strict regulations in place at the time, with guests having to keep to their designated tables during the afternoon drinks reception even though the weather allowed for this to be held outside. And of course dancing was banned, though I think at the time, the newlyweds could do an exterior first dance with acoustic music, but with so many constraints Nia and Alex decided they did not mind missing this particular tradition and instead they spent the time chatting and drinking with their friends in the evening sun.
