This first year of weddings at the new Sant Ffraed House wedding venue in Monmouthshire, South Wales has provided some gorgeous summer weddings. Olivia and Dafydd’s wedding day was no exception. They held their occasion on 25th August 2022, another beautiful warm sunny day. It did however represents the last of the summer weddings I have booked at this venue, but I look excitedly towards the autumn and winter season. As I have been commissioned to photograph a couple of further weddings this year at Sant Ffraed House and I look forward to seeing how the changes of the season are reflected at this stunning location. Today the bridal preparations took place at the bride’s family home in the village of Llanellan, not far from Sant Ffraed, which later house the marriage ceremony in the historic ocuntry mansion before festivities were transported to the modern addition to the estate, the K Room , where drinks and the wedding breakfast are hosted. Olivia look amazing in her dress from Eva Lendel, her look complimented by make up from Studio 53 and hair by Mandy. Dafydd did not look too shabby himself, courtesy of the bespoke tailor, Beggars Run in London. On the day I was joined by my friend Steve Ratcliffe, who filmed the day and Velvet Soul who provided the evening music.
