On this beautiful sunny day on 19th April 2014 I photographed the wedding of Lisa and Leighton at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, Cardiff. The day started with the bridal preparations at the couple’s lovely home in Cardiff, South Wales, followed by the marriage ceremony at St Isaan’s Church, Llansishen. The wedding reception took place at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, guests were greeted with chilled drinks served in the courtyard of the original mews building overlooked by Cardiff Castle.
In due course we were led to the new multi million pound theatre building where the impressive foyer provided the perfect location to host the wedding breakfast, with its enormous glass wall perfectly framing the idyllic views of Bute Park. I was also rather impressed with Lisa’s father who managed to make and install the large letters spelling LOVE that overlooked the foyer, and looked great especially when lit up in the evening. The day was filmed by the very talented Ben and Kate of Kissing Gate Films.
