Rosie and James’ wedding was held on a bright winter’s day on Saturday 3rd December 2011. The bridal preparations started at Feodora’s Salon in Abergavenny, South Wales and continued a short walk away at the Angel Hotel. The marriage ceremony took place at St Mary’s Priory Church, then back across the road to the hotel for the wedding reception.
As a documentary wedding photographer I prefer to photograph right up to the first dance and providing the action continues I normally stay a bit longer to capture it, Rosie and James’ first dance was followed by a ‘Ceilidh’ band and the guest were given full instructions for traditional Welsh folk dancing.
