A MORE NATURAL APPROACH TO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Hello, my name is Sacha Miller and I am a Cardiff wedding photographer and a South Wales wedding photographer. I also work with couples throughout the United Kingdom and occasionally overseas, capturing their special day with emotive photography.
My natural approach to photographing a wedding is to ensure that the bride and groom actually get time to enjoy their wedding day. It is not often you get all your friends and family together, and weddings days move pretty fast so it is best to squeeze out as much fun and laughter as possible. To enable this, I work in an unobtrusive and discreet manner, avoiding intrusion to simply record what happens, to preserve genuine memories and communicate the joy experienced on the day you got married.
“His photography highlights the intimate moments unseen by many, whilst exhibiting the balance of composition capable of only a true master.”
Whilst I specialise in documentary wedding photography, I appreciate that you may want a few formal groups shots of close family and perhaps a couple of portraits of just the two of you to utilise the surroundings. These posed pictures are totally at your discretion and can be done in a few minutes and need not take up too much time.
Primarily my aim is to tell the story of your wedding, in an informal manner, using the understated elegance of reportage photography. To provide the most natural and stunningly beautiful images that perfectly capture the essence of your day.
Please feel free to browse through my wedding portfolio or read some further wedding photography information. Also why not take a look what former bride and groom’s have to say through these client comments.
My approach is friendly yet low key, as an award winning Cardiff wedding photographer in South Wales, I simply wish to provide an honest and emotive pictorial record of the day.
This journal of my photography showcases a selection of images that I have produced from wedding commissions in South Wales and throughout the UK. This endeavour is to demonstrate a consistency of quality, style and the affectional properties a picture essay possess when telling a heartwarming story.

Elegant pictorial storytelling using beautiful, honest and emotive imagery
I have photographed many different types of weddings, and the one thing they all clients have in common is the desire to ‘enjoy the day’. Whilst they do require good photography, the paramount desire is to spend as much time as possible with close family and friends to make the memories that are worth capturing.
This approach is sometime known as wedding photojournalism, reportage or documentary, you can read more information on this subject by reading this article documentary wedding photography.
I suppose you classify me as bit of a purist in my approach to wedding photography, as I purposely avoid passing fads with gimmicky aesthetics that will date in a few years. As a medium, photography has yet to be surpassed in its ability to freeze a scene and transport you back to that moment in time when viewing the image in years to come. It is this timeless element that I endeavour to incorporate in my approach to wedding photography.
Please contact me with any questions or to check pricing and availability.
I only accept a limited number of weddings per year so unfortunately I am unable to reserve any date without a completed booking form and paid deposit.
Contact details will only be used in relation to this enquiry and will not be passed on to any third party.
