I photographed the wedding of Penny and Thomas on Saturday the 28th March 2015. As you will be able to tell from the images below it was just before the spring weather broke and the autumnal season was demonstrating some of its characteristics, but nevertheless the pictureques loctions that Penny and Thomas choose for their day more than made up for it.
The wedding ceremony was performed in the idyllic church of St Issui’s in Patrishow, nestled on the side of a rolling hill amongst the valleys of Monmouthshire, accessible only by a very steep one track country road.
The wedding reception took place in the grounds of Llanvihangel Court, a Grade I listed Tudor country house set in Monthmouthshire, Wales that dates back to the mid 16th century. With the help of a few umbrellas and good timing we even managed to get a few photographs in the grounds of the house before the wedding breakfast was served and where for this wedding my photographic coverage was scheduled to end.
